Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Website Developer to build, maintain, and enhance responsive, user-friendly websites. The ideal candidate has experience in front-end and/or back-end development, understands best practices in UX/UI design, and can work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using modern web technologies.
- Convert design mockups into functional web pages (HTML/CSS/JS).
- Develop custom features and functionalities using JavaScript, PHP, or other backend technologies.
- Maintain and update content on existing websites (including CMS platforms like WordPress).
- Ensure websites are optimized for performance, accessibility, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot bugs and issues across browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers on project requirements.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
- Follow best practices for coding, documentation, and version control (e.g., Git).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in website development with a strong portfolio.
- Proficient in:
- Front-End: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React/Vue/jQuery)
- Back-End: PHP, Node.js, .NET, or similar
- CMS: WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla (as applicable)
- Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with web hosting environments and deployment processes.
Preferred Skills (optional):
- Experience with version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
- Understanding of SEO and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
